Q: What made you decide to reach out to Clearwater Counseling/seek therapy?
A: I had to find a new therapist due to a previous therapist ending services. I also wanted to find a therapist who was more understanding than previous ones. I wanted to work with someone who could help me reach my full potential. Goodwill Day Services gave me Clearwater Counseling’s information and I got lucky.
Q: Can you describe what your experience has been like working with Clearwater Counseling?
A: Excellent. They take their job very seriously. They communicate well, they are courteous and they listen to me. They don’t push you too far too quickly, and they let me work at a pace I am comfortable with. They don't judge and they never become angry. They are extremely compassionate and kind. They also offer great coping skills.
Q: How has Clearwater Counseling/therapy impacted your life?
A: My therapist holds me accountable for daily living and helps to show me the consequences of my actions if I don’t follow through with something. My life has improved so much since I've started coming to Clearwater Counseling and I don't know who I would be without Clearwater Counseling.
Q: Would you recommend therapy to others?
A: Yes, definitely. Therapy can really change your life, and Clearwater Counseling is one of the best counseling places I have been to.
Q: What advice do you have for individuals who might be in similar situations?
A: It is okay to ask for help; the counseling process works if you allow it to work. Find a therapist who you get along with so that you can see growth. Remember that you, too, must be willing to put in the work to see results and improve your circumstances.
